3 classes of riders (A/B/C format) so that you can enjoy your laps in a group with a similar pace
We are limiting the number of riders to about 50, which means you’ll hardly hit any traffic on a large track such as Chuckwalla.
We are pampering you: food and beverages are included, all your pictures from the day on and off track, tire service on site (buy tires or bring your own), suspension service included for free (first come first serve)
Professional training by JP43 crew
Giveaways
What experience do I need?
First time on a track?
We invite you to attend and sign up for group C and we highly recommend you opt for the group training.
First time on a bike or limited on-the-street experience?
Contact an officer and let’s talk to evaluate if you can enjoy this opportunity safely and in a fun and memorable way.
Track expert?
You know the drill, A/B/C as commonly adopted by most track organizations. We might bump people up (or down) to balance the number of riders and/or their skills.
What’s included for everyone:
7 sessions of 20′ in the classic A/B/C format
Free professional pictures on and off the track by CaliPhotography
Free Light breakfast, lunch, and beverages
Free suspension service by Paradigm Cycle Services. This is first come, first serve, so we anticipate you get in line soon if you are interested.
On-site services
Tires: Pirelli. Pre-order directly at https://61dtc.com/ (tell them this is for the DROC September 29 event) or buy on-site.
Photography: CaliPhotography
Mechanical services (suspensions, mount wheels, general bike service): Paradigm Cycle Services (AJ)
Training
Group training is available as an option (250$ add-on) and provided by the world-renowned JP43 team:
Track coaching with MotoAmerica racers and professional racers
On-track video recording for post-riding analysis and feedback
Prelude of 1-on-1 coaching experience
Additional on-site services
Tire service is provided by Pirelli. You can buy tires onsite or you can bring your own tires for mounting and balancing (Note: wheels off the bike. Need help? Paradigm does it for you at 30$/wheel) (BYOT mounting for an additional fee)
Fuel is available onsite at Chuckwalla, even if you might want to bring your own
Lodging: Chuckwalla Raceway has exceptional cabins right outside the inner gate of the track. As the closest town is 45′ away, we recommend you book one. Look at a virtual tour of the cabins here. Other options are RV Camping and paddock camping, see here. If cabins are sold out online, please contact Chuckwalla Raceway directly at (760) 227-3100 and mention you are part of the private DROC event. A limited amount of cabins are being held for our event.
No garages are available at Chuckwalla – you will need a canopy. Contact us for help in case you need one.

Preparing your bike and its rider (you!)
Your bike should be in top shape, if you are worried about it or if you have any current technical issues please ask Ducati Newport Beach for an inspection.
Bike preparation
A clean, road-worthy motorcycle with properly operating controls (throttle, brakes, clutch, etc.) is required
Engine in good running condition with no leaks
Tires in new or nearly new condition. This is important because you can easily get in excess of 175 miles on the track per day. We will have on-site tire service if needed.
Mirrors must be taped (blue painters tape recommended) or removed
Taillight must be taped (blue painters tape recommended) and the brake light completely covered or disabled to not distract following riders
Wheel weights must be taped (duct tape recommended)
Not sure what tools/etc to bring? Check this comprehensive track day checklist for ideas.
Rider Preparation
Leather suit or jacket+pants that zip together, or equivalent Cordura nylon or Kevlar suit
Leather or Kevlar riding gloves extending above the wrist
Leather riding boots extending above the ankle
A DOT and/or Snell-approved full-face helmet with a locking visor and no damage
