WE ARE

Ducati Riders of Orange County

We are a Desmo Owners Club based in Orange County, California founded in 2018 with the support of Ducati Newport Beach: a Ducati Flagship Dealer.
We bring together people that are passionate about Ducati and we promote riding motorcycles with events like rides and bike nights across Southern California: no better place for riding.

  • Renato Bonomini
Renato Bonomini
PRESIDENT
Renato has been a DOC member since 2015, while living in Boston he joined the NEDOC (New England) and then joined DROC upon moving to the South Bay area of Los Angeles in 2019.
He was born in Italy and raised in Castiglione delle Stiviere; a town a couple of hours north of Bologna. He started riding motorbikes at age 14 on a racing replica 50 CC sportbike. It was not until Renato moved from Italy to the USA that he was finally able to own his first Ducati, a Panigale 899, and one can always make space for another Ducati, so a Monster 1200S joined the stable soon after.

"Like all engineers, I love technology, and in my spare time, I am a maker-tinkering of Arduino-based devices and 3D printing. I also enjoyed many years of stargazing through telescopes and plunging into the world of scuba diving. My passion for Ducati started with its advanced technology but quickly evolved in loving the connection with the Ducatisti community that is so strong in Southern California."
Mario Espinoza
VICE PRESIDENT
Mr. Espinoza has been a DOC member since 2016, he first joined the DRC, then joined DROC when it was founded in August 2018. Mr. Espinoza was born and raised in the city of Orange, CA, and has lived in Southern California all his life. He has been riding motorcycles for approximately 20 years and currently owns 2 Ducati bikes, a 2013 848evo Corse SE, and a 2015 Panigale R.

Mr. Espinoza says, “The first time I laid eyes on a Ducati 916 in 1996, I was overwhelmed with jealousy and envy, but owning a Ducati was financially out of reach. Fast forward to 2015, I was determined to buy a Ducati and found a jewel that I’m still in love with. Soon after purchasing the 848evo, I joined the DOC and became a proud Ducatista. The DROC club has always been an important part of my life because I have met so many people like me that not only love Ducati bikes but also have many other common interest and I have developed strong and enduring friendships.
