Award-Winning DROC Wins Two Ducati Official Club Awards
Costa Mesa, California — December 15, 2025 — Ducati Riders of Orange County (DROC), supported by Ducati Newport Beach, was recognized by Ducati Official Clubs worldwide with two awards presented at the Ducati Official Clubs Virtual President Meeting: the Social Media Presence Award, honoring the club’s consistent energy and authenticity online, and Best 25th Anniversary Celebration (co-awarded with Bay Area DOC) for delivering a standout California Ducati Week experience in Pismo Beach. These honors build on DROC’s prior recognition as Ducati’s 2022 “Most Proactive Club” award recipient.
DROC Leads Award-Recognized CADW2025: 11 Ducati Official Clubs Gather in Pismo Beach (Sept 4–7)
Pismo Beach, CA, September 2025. Ducati Riders of Orange County (DROC) co-organized California Ducati Official Clubs Week 2025 (CADW2025), bringing together 11 California Ducati Official Clubs for four days of curated rides, tours, sponsor sessions, meetups, giveaways, and a gala dinner in Pismo Beach. DROC’s leadership on this initiative was recognized by Ducati with a DOC award (shared with Bay Area DOC), underscoring the impact of the event on the wider California Ducati community.
DROC Confirms President, Appoints New Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer
Costa Mesa, CA, December 22, 2023. Ducati Riders of Orange County announces a new term for the current President, and the appointment of a new Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. An election was organized, and the candidates were selected using a self-nomination process. On December 2 and 3, 2023, a vote was held by active members of the DROC club to elect the new officers. Effective December 6, 2023, the new Vice President is Filippo Pagan, the new Secretary is Ben Gray, and the new Treasurer is Donatella Barragan. Renato Bonomini is confirmed as President for another term. Meet the team.
DROC Appoints New President, Vice President, and Secretary
Newport Beach, CA, September 21, 2021. Ducati Riders of Orange County announces the appointment of a new President, Vice President, and Secretary. An election was organized by the former officers of the DROC, and the candidates were selected using a self-nomination process. On August 15, 2021, a vote was held by active members of the DROC club to elect the new officers. Effective August 22, 2021, the new President is Renato Bonomini, the new Vice President is Mario Espinoza, and the new Secretary is Pratik Kekre. Chris Kirkwood will remain as Treasurer.
