What activities we enjoy doing

Riding is at the heart of DROC. Our calendar includes relaxed local outings, canyon rides, coastal routes, destination rides, and full-day adventures through some of Southern California’s best motorcycling roads.

Each organized ride begins with clear meetup information and a safety briefing, with routes, pace groups, regrouping points, and sweepers planned to help everyone enjoy the day within their own comfort level. Check out Rides page for important riding guidelines.

Whether we are heading out for breakfast, crossing the mountains, visiting another motorcycle community, or riding to watch MotoGP together, the goal is always the same: enjoy our Ducatis, discover great roads, and come home with new memories and stronger friendships.

Bike Nights are the social heartbeat of DROC and one of the easiest ways to meet the community. Our regular gatherings at Ducati Newport Beach bring members together at our favorite “Candy Store” to catch up, welcome new faces, admire the latest Ducati models, and occasionally enjoy unveilings, technical demonstrations, special guests, or other surprises.

DROC x DNB Bike Nights are scheduled every 4th Thursday of the month (with some notable exceptions like November and December) – check out their current calendar.

We also host Bike Nights at local restaurants, pubs, breweries, and motorcycle-friendly venues throughout Orange County. These evenings have a more casual neighborhood atmosphere, with good food, plenty of motorcycle talk, and time to connect away from the road. You do not need to arrive on a motorcycle. Just come as you are and say hello.

DROC track days give members the opportunity to enjoy their motorcycles in a controlled environment designed for learning, confidence, and fun. We organize private, limited-capacity track days for our community and also coordinate participation at selected events hosted by established track organizations and riding schools. Our private events typically accommodate different experience and pace groups, from riders attending their first track day to experienced riders looking to improve. Depending on the event, members may also have access to coaching, suspension support, professional photography, shared garage space, meals, and other amenities.

The experience is not about racing. It is about becoming a smoother, safer, and more capable rider while sharing an unforgettable day with the DROC famiglia.

Our ADV tours take the DROC experience beyond a single day and into some of the most memorable landscapes in the West. These limited-capacity, multi-day journeys have brought members to destinations such as Death Valley, the Grand Canyon, Sequoia, and Yosemite, combining scenic highways, remote roads, optional dirt sections, shared meals, and evenings spent reliving the day’s adventures.

Each tour is carefully planned around the route, fuel range, lodging, rider preparation, motorcycle suitability, and the experience required for the terrain.

ADV tours invite members to slow down, explore farther, support one another, and build the kind of friendships that can only come from traveling together on two wheels.

Our passion for motorcycles also gives us an opportunity to serve the community around us. DROC participates in charity rides, toy drives, cancer awareness events, fundraisers, and other initiatives that allow members to make a positive difference together.

These events may include collecting and delivering toys for children in need, supporting local nonprofit organizations, or joining community campaigns with fellow riders and partners.

Every charity event reflects an important part of who we are: a club built not only around the motorcycles we love, but also around responsibility, generosity, and care for others.

DROC clinics help members become safer, more knowledgeable, and more confident riders. Throughout the year, we organize workshops and small-group learning opportunities covering topics such as motorcycle first aid, accident response, riding skills, bike preparation, suspension setup, maintenance, technology, and track readiness.

Sessions are led by qualified professionals, experienced riders, trusted partners, or specialists from the wider motorcycle community. Some clinics are hands-on, while others combine demonstrations, discussion, and practical guidance.

Whatever the subject, the purpose is to give members useful knowledge they can carry with them on every ride and share with others in our community.
