Ride to Work Day 2026
Event Details
On Tuesday, June 9, 2026, DROC members are invited to take part in Ride to Work Day by choosing the Ducati for the commute, errands, or any practical everyday ride.
Ride to Work (https://www.ridetowork.org/) is a nonprofit initiative that promotes motorcycles and scooters as useful everyday transportation. The goal is simple: show the public, drivers, coworkers, and local decision makers that riders come from every occupation and walk of life, that motorcycles are part of real transportation, and that two wheels can help reduce congestion in busy cities.
How to join
- Ride your motorcycle to work on Tuesday, June 9, 2026.
- If you work from home or cannot commute that day, ride for an errand, lunch break, coffee stop, or another everyday transportation purpose.
- Post a photo or short clip on social media saying that you “rode to work” in support of Ride to Work Day.
- Tag DROC so we can share the club’s participation and help amplify the mission.

This is not a group ride or a fixed-location meetup. It is a club-wide participation day: ride visibly, ride respectfully, and help remind everyone that motorcycles are transportation as well as recreation.
