DROC Summer Festival 2026: The Ride with the Ducati Phoenix Club

The DROC Summer Festival is back, and this year we ride again with the Ducati Phoenix Official Club. Two of the best Ducati clubs in the US, one weekend, and some of the finest canyon roads in Southern California. Day one, we ride.

This is the riding half of the weekend, and it is open to all riders. Meet us Saturday morning in Tustin, point the bikes north, and spend the day in the corners. One hundred years of Ducati, marked the only way that makes sense: together, on the road.

Morning canyon ride

Meetup: 8:00 AM at Chevron, 17241 17th St, Tustin, CA 92780. Fuel up and be ready to roll.

Route: Carbon Canyon, then a gas stop at the Shell in Azusa (106 S Azusa Ave, Azusa, CA 91702), up Azusa Canyon, a photo stop at the water tower, and down to The Bike Shed in DTLA. About 3 hours and 110 miles.

Lunch at The Bike Shed

We roll into The Bike Shed around noon for lunch and Italian Motorcycle Day, the first-Saturday gathering where Italian bikes take over the shop. Plan on hanging out until about 2:00 PM. If you would rather meet us there instead of doing the full ride, you are welcome to just show up.

Optional afternoon: Angeles Crest Highway

For anyone who wants more, we point it at Angeles Crest Highway in the afternoon.

Alternate meetup: 2:30 PM at Shell, 4530 Angeles Crest Hwy, La Cañada Flintridge, CA 91011, if you want to join us just for the ACH leg. About 3 hours and 130 miles.

Get ready for the ride

Proper riding jacket, pants, gloves, and boots. Leathers are recommended. Bring a backpack with water and anything else you may need on a long, hot summer day, and pack a layer for the cooler air up on the mountain.
