DROC Summer Festival 2026: Party at Ducati Newport Beach

We close the DROC Summer Festival the family way: a party at Ducati Newport Beach with the Ducati Phoenix Official Club. An easy morning ride down to the coast, then food, shade, and good company at the Candy Store.

This is the celebration half of the weekend, and it is for DROC and Ducati Phoenix Official Club members and their families. One hundred years of Ducati, two clubs, one afternoon together.

Morning easy ride to the coast

Meetup: 8:00 AM at Everyday Eatery, 6634 Irvine Center Dr, Irvine, CA 92618. KSU 8:30 AM.

Route: Cooks Corner, Santiago Canyon, a short hop on HWY 22, a photo stop at Sunset Beach, then PCH all the way to Ducati Newport Beach. About 2 hours and 60 miles, easy pace.

Party at Ducati Newport Beach

We gather at Ducati Newport Beach for a self-hosted barbecue and pasta, with canopies for shade and tables to sit and bench race. Gates open at 11:00 AM, and the grill fires up around 11:30 AM.

There is a $10 attendance fee, mostly so we have an accurate headcount for food and drinks. Please submit your fee in advance to help us plan. Space is limited to about 50 people, so RSVP early.

Get ready for the ride

Proper riding jacket, pants, gloves, and boots. Bring water for a warm summer morning. If the group goes at a speed you do not feel comfortable with, ride your own ride; the sweeper is always with you and we regroup at key points. A safety meeting is mandatory before we roll.
