Chuckwalla Valley Raceway sits out at Desert Center, about two and a half hours east of Orange County, and it is the circuit DROC has made its own. It is where we run our own private days.
It is a 2.68-mile course with a good mix of long sweepers and technical sections, wide enough that a mistake usually costs you time rather than bodywork. That is why it suits a club day with riders at very different levels.
The circuit runs 17 turns over 2.68 miles and is 40 feet wide, deliberately built to be run in both directions, with the black and yellow roll curbs it is known for. The terrain undulates more than the photographs suggest. The official track and paddock maps are on Chuckwalla’s own site, along with their camping and drone rules, worth reading before an overnight.
Our private days are the draw. We take the whole circuit, cap it at roughly 60 riders, and split into three groups on the A/B/C format so you are lapping with people at your pace.
Seven 20-minute sessions, free professional photography, free suspension setting, breakfast and lunch included.
Sixty riders on a track this size means you will rarely see traffic, which is the actual reason to run a private day.
Members get first refusal, and these fill. It is one of the more concrete reasons to join.

Bike prep, gear, and what to pack are all on the track days page. If this would be your first time on track, read that first: none of it is hard, but arriving without a working transponder mount or taped mirrors wastes your morning.
