Event Details

If you are passionate about traveling long distances on a motorcycle and you enjoy the company of your DROC family, this is your chance to be part of an adventurous multi-day ride and bring home memories that will last a lifetime!

This Grand Canyon and National Monuments Trip is a 5-days full immersion riding experience among the most beautiful sceneries and jaw-dropping places in Nevada and Utah, designed by our Staff for touring/adventure bikes only, to cater to those of you who have seen or have always aspired to see the world on a beautiful motorcycle while riding in a group. We will ride alongside the Grand Canyon, the Hoover Dam, the Horseshoe Ben, Monument Valley just to name a few of these iconic places.

May 14-18, 2024 – 5 days

  • This trip is designed for intermediate/advanced riders only; be prepared to ride between 200 and 400 miles daily, in any weather condition.
  • This multi-day adventure ride is designed to accomodate only DROC owners of Multistrada and Desert X bikes: unfortunately we will not be able to include smaller tanks bikes like Panigale, StreetFighter, Scrambler, Hypermotard due to mileage requirements and planned gas stops.
  • You’ll need to have proper gear and equipment.
  • AAA coverage over 100+ miles is strongly suggested.
  • The tour is limited to 20 riders.
  • Please note that RSVP to this event adds you to a waiting list – you’ll be contacted privately by a DROC officer or tour leader to confirm availability and details.

Tour Plan

Get ready for the ride

  • Proper Riding Jacket
  • Proper Riding Pants
  • Proper Riding Gloves
  • Proper Riding Boots
  • Leathers or ADV touring options are required
  • Clear visor for night driving

This trip is designed and planned for Multistrada and DesertX bikes

Due to the amount of mileage and required gas stops, this ride is limited to bikes with long distance tanks (like MultiStrada and DesertX). Unfortunately other models, like Monster/Scrambler/Hyper/StreetFighter do not have the required range to make the trip enjoyable by a large group. We are planning shorter “ADV Style” trips with these bikes in mind.

Lodging

We will provide a list of preselected options (hotels). You will have to book and pay for it on your own.

Ground Rules

We would like to remind everyone, that each rider SHOULD and MUST ride within their limits. If the group goes at a speed you don’t feel comfortable with, you should not attempt to keep up.

You are encouraged to go at your own pace and the sweeper will be with you always. The group will always stop at important points for everyone to regroup.

Please, don’t feel ever like you are holding the group. We ride to enjoy our motorcycles, among friends and we want you to be safe.

  • Safety meeting mandatory before the ride
  • Adhere to indications given during the safety meeting
  • No passing on the right side of the road
  • Ride your own Ride; don’t push beyond your comfort zone

Tips to ride in a group

Please take some time to watch these videos: they provide tips on how to ride in a group.

We will continue to work on enjoying our rides courteously and safely.
