DROC Community Service: Costa Mesa Homeless Kitchen
Join DROC for a meaningful day of giving back to our Orange County community at the Costa Mesa Homeless Kitchen’s special distribution event!
Living Our Vision: Our vision isn’t just about connecting riders and inspiring journeys – it’s about making a positive impact on the community we call home. This is our chance to demonstrate that DROC stands for something bigger than ourselves.
The Event: This well-organized event goes beyond serving meals – we’ll be helping distribute hygiene items, cooking and kitchen tools, clothing, and toys for children to those in our community who need them most. The event runs from 10am-3pm, and we’re asked to arrive at 9:30am to help set up and stay until 3:30pm to assist with cleanup.
Location: Someone Cares Soup Kitchen 720 W 19th St, Costa Mesa, CA 92627
What to Expect:
- We’ll have our own table under the main organizer tents with a DROC banner
- Safe, organized environment run by dedicated volunteers and a wonderful coordinator
- Hands-on opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives
- The cooking and food distribution teams are fully staffed – we’re specifically needed to help with the distribution of essential items
Why This Matters: Our mission includes supporting charity initiatives, and this embodies our core values of Community, Respect, and Responsibility. The organizers have specifically requested our help, and this could become a meaningful annual tradition for our club.
The more DROC volunteers we can bring, the bigger impact we can make! Whether you can stay for the full event or just a few hours, your time will be greatly appreciated.
Let’s show Costa Mesa what the DROC family is all about! 🏍️❤️
